About Me

A photographer by the name of Robert Mapplethorpe once said “I am obsessed with beauty. I want everything to be perfect, and of course it isn’t. And that’s a tough place to be because you’re never satisfied” As an artist, I use photography as a tool to create, deconstruct and heal the wounds that so easily shatter our idea of all that is perfect. After first being exposed to photography I found pleasure in becoming immersed in the world of image making. I now seek to find inspiration in using my photography as a means to connect and show the vastness that surrounds us. In capturing portraits, as well as in nature, I find it rewarding that I am able to appreciate the beauty, as well as the ugly in our lives.
